CLASSES

All Kettlebell Classes typically last an hour and are designed to accomodate all levels of kettlebell users.

KETTLEBELL BLAST

(You must take a JUMP START class in order to participate in these classes.)

Learn how to use your body and a kettlebell (KB) to burn fat and build muscle in minimal time—safe for the joints and builds tremendous functional core strength.

These classes are offered 6 days a week. Ideally, it is best for your body if you participate on alternating non-consecutive days, either Monday-Wednesday-Friday or Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday.

Three alternating days of kettlebell training classes is recommended to see the results you want and of course any three days is better than none.

 

HALF AND HALF CLASS

This class is a split between focused joint mobility work, bodyweight and kettlebell exercises. Each class we will delve deeply into focused joint mobility work and then apply the gains in improved body awareness to a variety of exercises. This “all levels” class can be used for multiple purposes. If you haven’t been coming to kettlebell classes or are concerned that they may be too intense for you to start with regularly, this class is perfect for you. You will gain a better understanding of your body and greatly improve your form, technique and safety allowing you to express the strength and ability you never knew your body had. This class will allow you to seamlessly transition into the rest of the group kettlebell classes.

If you have been coming to kettlebell classes regularly then this class can serve as a bridge between workouts or as a method for you to greatly enhance your own movement skill. Each class we break down movements at each joint and then reintegrate them. This allows you to really understand your body and refine and improve your control over it. I like to say, “This class teaches you how to let your body move the way it’s supposed to, not the way it has to.” If you want to improve your strength, coordination, reflexes, and balance, this class will work wonders.

This class is so much more than the abbreviated form of joint mobility that we use as a part of the warmup in our regular kettlebell classes. This class is the way to make a huge leap forward in your progress. Whether you come regularly to this class or use it as an occasional adjunct to your normal workouts you will gain huge benefits. While this class is less physically demanding than our regular group kettlebell classes it is by no means easy. Like anything else the more you put into it, the more you’ll get out of it. Even if you’re not sure if this class is for you, check it out! Your body will thank you for it!

 

ALL-LEVELS VINYASA YOGA

This flow yoga class is suitable for yogis of all experience levels. The instructor will lead students through a variety of standing, seated and inverted postures, offering a menu of modifications and amplifications along the way. Whether you are looking for a complement to kettlebell training or simply an energizing stress reduction tool, this class is for you.
